Con guration Monitoring Statistics 7.3 METHODS FOR MONITORING THE WEB SERVER This page contains thre e categories of statistics: general statistics, instance statistics, and virtual server statistics. Information found in the General Statistics section is the same as the information returned from the get-con g-stats subcommand and is shown in Figure 7.3.

Information contained in the Instance Statistics section provides an overview of the various instances for which this con guration has been deployed. This can be seen in Figure 7.4.

. Con guration Instance Statistics Overview The table in Figure 7.4 provides a list of available instances, along with the following: Instance The name of the instance to which this con guration was deployed. Node The name of the node where this instance is found.

Virtual Servers The number of virtual servers contained within this instance. Server Crashes The number of times this particular instance has crashed and had to be restarted. Requests The total number of requests received by all virtual servers within the instance.

Errors The total number of errors logged across all virtual servers within the instance. Response Time The maximum response time for any virtual server contained within the instance. Select the link for the instance name to see comprehensive information for the particular server instance.

This includes general statistics, process-related statistics, thread pool statistics, and virtual server statistics. Information found on this page is the same as the information returned from the get-con g-stats subcommand when you use the --node option. Information contained in the Virtual Server.

MONITORING WEB SERVER 7.0 Statistics section is t he same as that found on the Con guration Monitoring Statistics page and provides an overview of the various virtual servers that are contained within the instance. This is shown in Figure 7.5.

In addition to the general and response statistics information described here, the Virtual Server Monitoring Statistics page provides statistical information on any Web Applications that may have been deployed to this virtual server. This information can be seen in Figure 7.8.
